Mt. Carmel Novena: Mary & the Saints of Carmel

Due to the present circumstances we are unable to host our annual public Novena honoring Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.  We invite you to join us in prayer beginning July 8th through the 16th, the Solemnity of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

NOVENA PRAYER

Mother of Carmel, through the example of St. Teresa of Jesus, help us pray as she taught: “Prayer is conversation with Him whom we know loves us.”

Virgin of Fairest Love, through the intercession of St. John of the Cross, strengthen those in darkness, sorrow and pain to carry their crosses with faith and love.

Queen of Mercy, through the prayers of St. Therese, teach all in the Church how to walk the Little Way of Confidence and Love.

Mother of Unity, by the example of St. Raphael of St. Joseph, grant peace, understanding and unity to families, communities, and nations.

Shining Glory of Israel, through the prayers of St. Teresa Benedicta bring together all peoples in the truth that is found only in Jesus, your Son.

Joy and Crown of Heaven and Earth, by the example of St. Teresa of the Andes, draw young people to Jesus and help them find the meaning of their lives in Him.

Flowing Fountain of Salvation, through the intercession of St. Albert of Trapani, quench the thirst of all who seek for God amid the deserts of secularism, doubt and unbelief.

Gate of Heaven, by the example of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity, open for us a way into the interior of our souls where the Holy Trinity dwells.

Queen and Beauty of Carmel, through the prayers of St. Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Heart, help us respond to the love of Jesus by loving others as He loves them.

PRAYER – Lord Jesus, Son of God and Son of Mary, hear the prayers we offer you through your Mother and ours. As we honor her in this Novena, may she intercede with you to answer the prayers and needs we bring before you (mention your intentions).  Amen.
