We give thanks to God for our newest Carmelite Novice, Sr. Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Hearts.  After completing a year of postulancy, experiencing the life of Carmel first hand, Emily Hayes was accepted to enter the Novitiate on August 15^th, 2021, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  During a private ceremony, Emily was clothed with the Carmelite Habit and given her new religious name, Sr. Teresa Margaret of the Sacred Hearts.  It was a joyful day for our community and for Sister as she takes this next step in her formation as a Discalced Carmelite Nun.
